Emergency Vehicle GPS Tracking

The Jarvis Emergency Vehicle Tracking module is designed for Civil Protection organisations, Fire Brigades, Red Cross and any agency managing operational fleets in emergency contexts. The system integrates natively with the Jarvis operations room, bringing vehicle positions directly onto the operational map and improving the quality and speed of every intervention.

IP67 GPS and Real-Time Alerts

The IP67-certified GPS device is designed to withstand the extreme conditions typical of emergency scenarios: heavy rain, mud, dust and vibrations. The real-time alert system immediately notifies:

  • Unexpected ignition: the vehicle starts outside authorised operational shifts.
  • Low battery: preventive warning to avoid a vehicle becoming inactive during an intervention.
  • Rollover: automatic accelerometer-based detection with immediate alert to the operations room.
  • Detected accident: significant impacts automatically identified, with priority notification to the duty coordinator.

Live Video Monitoring

In an optional configuration, the system supports live video monitoring from the vehicle camera. The operations room can view a live video stream from the responding vehicle, obtaining an immediate assessment of the scenario without waiting for the field team’s report. This feature is particularly valuable in managing complex incidents or high-risk scenarios.

Integration with the Jarvis Operations Room

The module’s key strength is its native integration with the Jarvis operations room. The position of every emergency vehicle appears in real time on the operational map, overlaid on active incidents. The room coordinator can:

  • See the geographic distribution of all available vehicles.
  • Identify the nearest vehicle to the reported event.
  • Assign the intervention directly from the map with a single click.
  • Monitor the vehicle’s progress towards the destination in real time.

Intervention Priority Management

Jarvis automatically calculates the nearest vehicle to the event based on real-time GPS position, taking into account each vehicle’s operational status (available, on mission, under maintenance). The operations room receives an optimal assignment suggestion, reducing response times and improving overall intervention effectiveness.

Mission and Trip History

Every mission is recorded and archived in the Jarvis platform. The mission history includes: departure and arrival time, route taken, events detected during the journey and operational notes entered by staff. This archive is essential for post-intervention reporting, operational performance analysis and resource planning.
