Environmental obligations span every industrial sector. Chemical storage thresholds, atmospheric emissions, water discharge limits, noise levels, waste classification all carry monitoring and reporting requirements — with growing penalties for non-compliance and, in serious cases, criminal liability for individual managers. For many SMEs, monitoring today still means manual sampling and paper logs: exceedances are often discovered well after the fact, when the damage is done.
Continuous parameter monitoring
Connect environmental sensors and monitoring instruments to Jarvis HSE and receive a continuous data stream for any parameter: physical (temperature, humidity, wind, barometric pressure), environmental risk (precipitation, river levels, soil moisture, snow), industrial (noise, vibration, particulate, gas, tank levels), geographic risk (avalanche indicators, debris flow sensors, seismic activity). All data is logged, archived for historical analysis and visualized on real-time dashboards.
Threshold-based automatic alerting
For each parameter, define pre-warning thresholds (an early advisory before the regulatory limit is reached) and alert thresholds (the operational or regulatory limit). When exceeded, immediate notification to all configured recipients via push, SMS, email or Telegram. Thresholds can be configured in either direction (“above X”, “below Y”) and for combined conditions (e.g. alarm only if BOTH wind AND rainfall exceed thresholds simultaneously). All alarms are timestamped and permanently logged — documentary evidence that the exceedance was detected, communicated and managed.
Historical data and trend analysis
All data is in a time-series archive for: regulatory reporting (export for AIA reports, ISO 14001 audits, EMAS verifications), trend analysis (identify parameters approaching limits), incident investigation (full history before/during/after an event), statistical analysis (peaks, averages, exceedance counts).
Integrated evidence chain
When a threshold is exceeded, the relevant action plan or emergency procedure is automatically available in the notification. Field workers can be dispatched with their assignment and the procedure via Jarvis Mobile. All subsequent activity — inspection, corrective action, evidence collected — is logged and linked to the original exceedance event. Complete evidence chain from detection to resolution.
